The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Alves. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Angelsø in the 24th minute of play. Matías Mendes took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Waack in the 31st minute of play. Manuel Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 35th minute. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Mendes in the 38th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wágner de Sena made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Matías Mendes immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Peru booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Izaltina FAD's William Magalhães was substituted for Patrik Gribfeldt. Benito Lain hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Well-Well Waack made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Alves was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 56th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Matías Mendes sent off a good shot on target. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Manuel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Silvio Honesto replaced Leandro Sugar. In the 70th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wágner de Sena made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Leo Salvino immediately put the ball in play. Efraim Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. 87 minutes into the game, Peru's Rafael Gallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute of play. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 96th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Izaltina FAD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peru.
