Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoriano Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Dunixi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Dunixi. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 28th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Dunixi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1 got a freekick which was hit by Javier Ferreyra. 46 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Ferreyra to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Victoriano Dunixi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1 from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Sesuldo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Raimundo Lano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 60th minute, Raimundo Lano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Juan Sebastián Puig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victoriano Dunixi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Victoriano Dunixi made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Lluciano in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Javier Ferreyra in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victoriano Dunixi, 0-5. 85 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Victoriano Dunixi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Dunixi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1.
