One of Jumeuc Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panama:s goal. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Hamilton Luis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 played minutes Jumeuc Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Saldanha. In the 16th minute, Francisco da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jumeuc Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. If Samuel Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco da Cunha in the 31st minute. In the 32nd match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. When Francisco da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Jumeuc Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco da Cunha couldn't finish the play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamilton Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emerson Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Emerson Paraíba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

52 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Jumeuc Futebol Clube's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Paraíba came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Adelino Saldanha got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 73 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. 74 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Hamilton Luis came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th minute Falcão Soeiro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Barrios during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Glauco Negri was substituted for Falcão Soeiro. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glauco Negri in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Glauco Negri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Jumeuc Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Joel Saldanha hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jumeuc Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
