Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Kiko Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo na Veia FC™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kiko Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yuri Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kiko Martins. Nelson Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Kiko Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yuri Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Alberto Negri threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 28 minutes into the game, Valentino Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo na Veia FC™ the free kick. Ricardo Zorita was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Renato Pimenta. Lorenzo Yepes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Elói Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Pimenta made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Yuri Queiroz. Galo na Veia FC™'s Elói Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 38th minute of play. When Alberto Negri fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo na Veia FC™'s protests and gave Alberto Negri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Moises Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elói Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kiko Martins.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Martins's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Elói Medeiros in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elói Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Negri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Martins in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Luque in the 79th minute of play forced Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Elói Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Queiroz in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match Galo na Veia FC™ got a corner. El Salvador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberto Negri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedrinho Velloso was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Valladares in the 89th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, El Salvador's Abram Luque dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Galo na Veia FC™'s Elói Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Galo na Veia FC™ from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Salvador had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
