The tension between the Curacao and the Galo na Veia FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7thth minute of the game Kiko Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Martins's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Stanley Wallace hit a great ball. If Nelson Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nelson Valladares took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Martins in the 18th minute of the match. Troy Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Kiko Martins scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Galo na Veia FC™ were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Curacao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Negri took the corner. Joel Ramalho made a great header on Galo na Veia FC™'s corner, it was just that Curacao's Bruno Barrett managed to reach the ball for a save. Renato Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kiko Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. If Renato Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Kiko Martins put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Galo na Veia FC™'s Elói Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocco Owen in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Curacao booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuri Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The supporters of Galo na Veia FC™ booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Kennedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuri Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galo na Veia FC™. Galo na Veia FC™'s Kiko Martins was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 75th minute of the match, Pedrinho Velloso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Barrett was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Rocco Owen got a free kick in the 77th minute. Kiko Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Yuri Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kiko Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Martins in the 93rd minute of play. Kiko Martins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Queiroz in the 96th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Galo na Veia FC™ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curacao throughout the match.
