Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bieito Villaurreta made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Paulo Laurentzi made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th minute Paulo Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Bieito Villaurreta made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Usub Raha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Usub Raha kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The corner led Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Bieito Villaurreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Bieito Villaurreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Criciúma Esporte Clube's Bieito Villaurreta got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Laurentzi made a great header on Criciúma Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Criciúma Esporte Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulo Laurentzi in the 35th minute. The corner led Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Paulo Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Criciúma Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tercero Noya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th match minute, Criciúma Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Zapolski to maneuver through the defense.

Evelio Antoniano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evelio Antoniano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bieito Villaurreta got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Laurentzi scored 0-5 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Evelio Antoniano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Bieito Villaurreta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Bieito Villaurreta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-6. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Criciúma Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Usub Raha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Laurentzi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Criciúma Esporte Clube's Bieito Villaurreta. But to his dismay, Bieito Villaurreta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 82 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Criciúma Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Paulo Laurentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Paulo Laurentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute Paulo Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Criciúma Esporte Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
