Cipriano Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 17 in the game by Natalio Bernal from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Elazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Zuberbühler FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Cipriano Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. Zuberbühler FC's Cipriano Elazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cipriano Elazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Elazar having to interfere. Cipriano Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 37th minute of play. Cipriano Elazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cipriano Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Elazar saved Zuberbühler FC from getting behind. After 45 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Kemen. Cipriano Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Elazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 59 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Zuberbühler FC's Cipriano Elazar. Cipriano Elazar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, Zuberbühler FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 73rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Elazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Cipriano Elazar in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidro Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cipriano Elazar. Cipriano Elazar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 82 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cipriano Elazar. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Elazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Mouricio. Cipriano Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
