In the 17th match minute, ErbaA KartaLı was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasan Kaim to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdullatif Zafer in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. After 25 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. After 29 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. 29 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Abdullatif Zafer came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abdullatif Zafer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ErbaA KartaLı's Abdullatif Zafer to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Cotilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute of play forced ErbaA KartaLı's goalkeeper Sufi Hanönü to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamdullah Kaplan ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Panama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Abdullatif Zafer hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdullah Kaplan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorukhan Uran charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorukhan Uran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dorukhan Uran hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sufi Hanönü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of the match. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sufi Hanönü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 73rd minute of the match. Sufi Hanönü made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Berganza in the 75th minute. Seçkin Bayındır hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ErbaA KartaLı throughout the match.
