The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Geroy Ascue a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Geroy Ascue. Rogelio Policarpio scored 0-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Antonello Roccuzzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 37 minutes into the match, Antonello Roccuzzo notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Policarpio in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Romulo Ledesma took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Demonde Jacobson to make any attempt to save it. Antonello Roccuzzo scored 0-13 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Rogelio Policarpio scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 0-14. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jamaica booed when SHIZUOKA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Antonello Roccuzzo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demonde Jacobson. Antonello Roccuzzo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Policarpio went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-17 was the resulting score. SHIZUOKA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
