Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cassius Byrne kicked off to start the match. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickaël Maris having to interfere. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Penha in the 5th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Penha came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mickaël Maris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 8th minute of the match. Mickaël Maris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jenson Smith in the 13th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Laércio Penha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Laércio Penha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickaël Maris having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Edu Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Mickaël Maris in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mickaël Maris made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Edward Mcdonald sent off a good shot on target.

Mickaël Maris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 54th minute of play. Jenson Smith made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Monty Rogers. Mickaël Maris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Laércio Penha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 68th minute, Laércio Penha made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 72nd minute, Sam Campbell made a precise shot to the right of Mickaël Maris. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Mickaël Maris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 78th minute of the match. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Mickaël Maris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Mickaël Maris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Sam Campbell notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris. Mickaël Maris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Although USA had been in control for most of the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC still came away with the win.
