Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Claus in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Roque Claus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 1-0. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 17th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Åke Brummer was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 20th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lanzenkirchen's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Åke Brummer came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Abram Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Åke Brummer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Colombia's Luis Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Åke Brummer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Roque Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's Santino Seco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Niclas Knebel in the 44 minute of the game. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pascual Carballar hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Roque Claus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. The Lanzenkirchen fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Lanzenkirchen's Roque Claus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Roque Claus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Roque Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Lanzenkirchen got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Knebel. In the 66th minute, Luis Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lanzenkirchen made a substitution. Roland Freytag replaced Lasse Tilemann. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Luis Cazalla hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Bejger in the 72nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lanzenkirchen's Octav Bocșan got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Nicolai Nowak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Claus in the 89th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Bejger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
