Lanzenkirchen's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Bejger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Åke Brummer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Karl-Åke Brummer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roque Claus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Chile were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Lanzenkirchen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucjan Bejger to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Roque Claus made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 57 minutes into the game, Roque Claus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Åke Brummer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Holger Häfeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lanzenkirchen's Roland Freytag was substituted for Lasse Tilemann. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 69th minute of play. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 72nd minute of play. Karl-Åke Brummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. After 80 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Åke Brummer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Claus. In the 83rd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Karl-Åke Brummer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 94th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lucjan Bejger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lanzenkirchen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
