Lisandro Eate replaced Thalis Mileta. Santos City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexsandro Dionísio in the 64th minute. After taking down the ball on Santos City's corner Alexsandro Dionísio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Merdin Merdaci quite easily take care of the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Paulo Cordarin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogelio Aurken skillfully saved the ball. Ricardo Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Aurken having to interfere.
Santos City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
