When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Bernie Gauthier put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aurel Crivoi. After a rather tough play, FC Kadzidlowen's Wieslaw Niedbalski got a free kick in the 11th minute. Christer Wallin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Kiepski. FC Kadzidlowen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wieslaw Niedbalski made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Victorino Oso however managed to control. In the 17th minute, Hector Hugo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Kiepski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 22 minutes of play, FC Kadzidlowen's Tomás Urbistondo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurel Crivoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 25 minutes, Hector Hugo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Hugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Hugo in the 29th minute of play forced FC Kadzidlowen's goalkeeper Emil Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Urbistondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Tomás Urbistondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kadzidlowen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Radomil Michnik kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Kadzidlowen were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Hugo made a kick off. With an all-out effort, FC Kadzidlowen's Aurel Crivoi threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomás Urbistondo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 62 minutes into the game, Christer Wallin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kadzidlowen the free kick. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Bernt Offendahl was substituted for Alfred Mossberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Hugo in the 68th minute of play forced FC Kadzidlowen's goalkeeper Emil Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bernt Offendahl came up free with the goalie in the 111th minute, the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Offendahl couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Maria in the 112th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Crivoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Urbistondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 114th minute. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 3-3. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Bernt Offendahl did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. Bernt Offendahl scored 4-3 in the 120th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Kiepski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
