Dong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Távora, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Terceirense F.C.'s Cássio Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svanbjörn von den Berg in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Terceirense F.C.'s Gabriel Távora made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dong was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintino Gameiro to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Cordearo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Gabriel Távora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Mesquita made a kick off. Gabriel Távora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cássio Baptista came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Galicia's Leonel Mesquita. Neither Deportivo Galicia or Terceirense F.C. succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia started the play with the initial kick off. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Galicia fully deserved thier win.
