Heavenly Hooters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todd Griffiths was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 许光霖 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phil Naylor in the 15th minute of play. Lennie Rusby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Stenqvist in the 17th minute of the match. Einar Ålberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Lennie Rusby made a huge save. After 23 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Ross Clark. In the 24th minute of the match Niclas Stabbe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennie Rusby showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Klas Wickander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lennie Rusby made a huge save. Isac Vornicu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Lennie Rusby. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Supreme FC's goal looked a bit too open when Phil Naylor came free, but 许光霖 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when Supreme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Ålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phil Naylor in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 许光霖 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the game, Isac Vornicu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heavenly Hooters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Supreme FC the free kick. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Supreme FC's Per Stenqvist started the play with his kick off. In the 107th match minute, Heavenly Hooters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Wright to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Bryngelsson in the 109th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Supreme FC's 许光霖 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 114th minute of play. Heavenly Hooters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marty King in the 115th minute. The Supreme FC players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

Everyone could clearly see that both Heavenly Hooters's and Supreme FC's players was becoming tired in their legs when Heavenly Hooters's Todd Griffiths did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. Todd Griffiths fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 119th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 许光霖 having to interfere. If Frodo Baggins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 123rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 127 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Per Stenqvist came free, but Lennie Rusby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 132 minutes of play, Supreme FC's Frodo Baggins made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennie Rusby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Supreme FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
