The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gottfrid Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang De in the 8th minute of the match. Enrique Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pihl United's Ball Balla got a free kick in the 10th minute. Gottfrid Haström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Hermon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gottfrid Haström came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by StardustRevolution's Jiang De. But to his dismay, Jiang De quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfredo Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ferreira in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pihl United's zone, Jiang De stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gottfrid Haström came out of the goal and Jiang De tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Llorenc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Sundberg in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes in the game Luc Fontaine did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nicolaas Anelka. Alfredo Llorenc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Sundberg's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 32 minutes of play, StardustRevolution's Jiang De made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gottfrid Haström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Pihl United's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang De came free, but Gottfrid Haström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Gabriel Jacobsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pihl United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave StardustRevolution the free kick. 42 minutes into the match, Pihl United's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang De came free, but Gottfrid Haström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Jacobsson made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nicolaas Anelka however managed to control. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Sundberg to make the kick off. Alfredo Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Ferreira in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Jiang De made a precise shot to the right of Gottfrid Haström. Pihl United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. StardustRevolution made a substitution. Arsenio Erico replaced Jiang De. Gottfrid Haström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Toro's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Pihl United's goalkeeper Gottfrid Haström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Sandell. Pihl United made a substitution. Anderson Leal replaced Sergio-Roberto Ramos. Daniel Waselewicz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gong Xun Song fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Haström having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Erico got free with Gottfrid Haström in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Gottfrid Haström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 75 minutes into the match, StardustRevolution's goal looked a bit too open when Shea Caballero came free, but Alfredo Llorenc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the StardustRevolution defense, Tommy Sundberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Llorenc. The StardustRevolution fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Llorenc should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. StardustRevolution walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
