The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute August Palm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when August Palm came free, but Daniel Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Lindo Trollo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campeones del Mundo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lindo Trollo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Moberg. Jan Moberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute Lindo Trollo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Moberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Baxters Boys's Jan Moberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Kauldi in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Pedro Kauldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campeones del Mundo's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Kauldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Moberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Jan Moberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Tham in the 74th minute of play. Daniel Igon came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Baxters Boys's August Palm. But to his dismay, August Palm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jan Moberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Daniel Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Tham in the 85th minute of play. Edmund Olsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Daniel Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Bernardino Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Moberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Moberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Txilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
