Hortêncio de Lima hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edinho Vasconcelos to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Lara came free, but Frederico Smith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube do Remo MZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
