Parque Europa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Löfkvist in the 13th minute. Luis Täger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of play. Froilan Reyes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Reyes came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassius Byrne scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Täger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Reyes. Cassius Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of USA booed when Parque Europa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atahan Balyemez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half USA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. The throw-in from Jenson Smith in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Parque Europa FC's Emanuel Löfkvist. In the 86thth minute of the game Aureliano Soto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aureliano Soto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Soto in the 87th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Soto in the 89th minute of play. Luis Täger was a little too slow when Khalid Parry got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 3-2.
