Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Ocio started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Kevin Carballal hit a great ball. Gonzalo Juaristi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francisco Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, Corinthians Colombiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Ocio to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Orellana kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Orçun Özbilir kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Corinthians Colombiano defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynardo Gaceo. The Corinthians Colombiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynardo Gaceo should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Reynardo Gaceo. In the 32nd match minute, Corinthians Colombiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Ocio to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Jaime Cazalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Reynardo Gaceo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gelmiro Amezaga in the 36 minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Corinthians Colombiano's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Reynardo Gaceo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Orçun Özbilir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Reynardo Gaceo managed to make a qualified save. Corinthians Colombiano's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Ocio in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes of play, Corinthians Colombiano's Nuno Ocio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Uruguay booed when Corinthians Colombiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hanni Arena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 71st minute Nuno Ocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Cazalla was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Uruguay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 79 minutes in the game Gelmiro Amezaga did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Melquiades Orellana. Hanni Arena kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynardo Gaceo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hanni Arena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reynardo Gaceo. Francisco Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4.
