An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced Głodne Ghule's goalkeeper Leonard Dziechciowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Leonard Dziechciowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Głodne Ghule's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Leonard Dziechciowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 67 minutes in the game, Cristian Sancho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leonard Dziechciowski having to interfere.
