Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sungur Rehber in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nourredine Aggoune. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungur Rehber in the 22nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 24th minute. Sungur Rehber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Ilgov, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Sungur Rehber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Sungur Rehber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Sungur Rehber put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Börje Säv blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Sungur Rehber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Sungur Rehber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Ribba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Ilgov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sungur Rehber's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pavel Ilgov was the one to do the kick off. Nourredine Aggoune stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Sungur Rehber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sungur Rehber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. FC Ribba made a substitution. Birger Skålberg replaced Anfilogino Pio. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sungur Rehber in the 64th minute of play. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nourredine Aggoune read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nourredine Aggoune prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! The crowd rose to their feet as Sungur Rehber kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-4 in the 81 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Pavel Ilgov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pavel Ilgov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Almstedt during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Ribba's Ivan Almstedt got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the FC Ribba defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nourredine Aggoune. The FC Ribba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nourredine Aggoune should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Ribba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Beckman didn't get a good kick on the ball.
