But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Harald Teissen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Hamílton Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Schütze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Harald Teissen sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s goalkeeper Hamílton Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Venezuela's Patricio Costa in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s goalie prevented a goal. After 29 minutes, Oliver Schütze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliver Schütze kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Harald Teissen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Harald Teissen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st match minute, ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Salmutter to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Oliver Schütze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Oliver Schütze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harald Teissen to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes, ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Anton Peter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ reached it. 56 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 56th minute. Anton Peter didn't quite understand what happened when in the 58 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Hamílton Loyola made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 62 minutes, Horea Savin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Horea Savin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ made a substitution. Falk Scheufens replaced Harald Teissen. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hamílton Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falk Scheufens's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Falk Scheufens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Falk Scheufens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falk Scheufens's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Hamílton Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Falk Scheufens came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Falk Scheufens made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Tomas Illescas in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hamílton Loyola, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 93 minutes of play, ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Falk Scheufens made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
