Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nerio Lopez de Toro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bob Hyatt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Nerio Lopez de Toro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. ACC Mavericks's Bob Hyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play forced ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Nerio Lopez de Toro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Hyatt having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Tuan Eubanks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bob Hyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Nerio Lopez de Toro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nerio Lopez de Toro's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bob Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nerio Lopez de Toro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bob Hyatt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixten Gullesson during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ACC Mavericks's Sixten Gullesson got a free kick in the 94th minute.
