Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Iacob Prisecaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Matei Rotariu managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Bolivia's Mario Fernandino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Panait Unciuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Julio Chicote got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Steaua Somcuta MM booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Fontirroig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panait Unciuleanu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 38 minutes, Mario Fernandino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Steaua Somcuta MM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Aurelian Chira hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Eduardo Fontirroig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Steaua Somcuta MM were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, George Pitiș fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Camilo Freixa, passed just outside the right post. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Pitiș in the 61st minute of the match. Alfonso de la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Steaua Somcuta MM's Dacian Săvulescu got a free kick in the 67th minute. Luca Marinică hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Alfonso de la Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Dacian Săvulescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camilo Freixa, 0-2. The Steaua Somcuta MM players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
