Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Scarafia Ghost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mateusz Zabrzeski, made in the 11th minute of the game. Iustin Bâru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Alonso Berganza made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Go Ahead Eagles's Mateusz Zabrzeski. Scarafia Ghost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play. Facundo Bot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Grigore Mălaimare hit a great ball. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Scarafia Ghost didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Bot. 31 minutes into the game, one of Go Ahead Eagles:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Scarafia Ghost had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Luz Tejedor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Bot got free with Rolando Noboa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scarafia Ghost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Scarafia Ghost narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Berganza. Go Ahead Eagles's Cássio Gonçalves was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iustin Bâru to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Iustin Bâru scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Go Ahead Eagles's Merih Yesari was substituted for Iakovos Efthimiadis. In the 62nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Go Ahead Eagles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 68th minute of the game Mateusz Zabrzeski made a throw-in which Panos Kaklamanos played forward. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Lewandowski in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Go Ahead Eagles's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Scarafia Ghost came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erling Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Scarafia Ghost read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Go Ahead Eagles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. Facundo Bot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Panos Kaklamanos made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Mateusz Zabrzeski made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Panos Kaklamanos however managed to control. Many of Peru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peru may have spent more time on the ball, but Go Ahead Eagles were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
