Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Evelio Firme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Álvaro Morales capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Álvaro Morales really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Tellier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tinko Nonev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Morales went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Artemio Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Placido Lucero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 26th minute, Álvaro Morales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Álvaro Morales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Álvaro Morales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute Álvaro Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tellier booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Álvaro Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tellier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tellier's Marco Hats got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Marco Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Hats in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pastor Phelipe, made in the 77th minute of the game. Tellier's Placido Lucero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Tellier from getting a goal against them. Placido Lucero made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the game, Tellier's Elpidio Vedillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Morales in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Tellier's Marco Hats got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Hats, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Tellier players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
