In the 18th minute of the game Cléberson Prestes made a throw-in which Ahmet Baki Tecimer played forward. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Vimaro having to make a save. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bastien Domenge kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Carmelo Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Maquina 9-12-18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Vachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's Albert Gaardahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Carmelo Vachon notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 47 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the La Maquina 9-12-18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. The wind increased when Albert Gaardahl made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Vachon's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Vachon in the 55th minute of play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Gaardahl in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Albert Gaardahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vachon in the 97th minute of play. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
