Delphine Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vyacheslav Korolev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Kornecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes Delphine Stars's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabian Kornecki quite easily take care of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasile Ştirbu. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. The Delphine Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Fabian Kornecki made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Kornecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Kornecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delphine Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
