An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of play forced MINAS TIRITH's goalkeeper Niculae Dudău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Görkem Büyükada came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phoenix Alb in the 23rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Niculae Dudău successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Vlăsiu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Dudău having to interfere. After 36 minutes MINAS TIRITH's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Facundo Cadaval to fire away a dangerous shot which Niculae Dudău despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Görkem Büyükada, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niculae Dudău, 1-0. After 40 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Dudău was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Dudău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Vlăsiu in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Niculae Dudău didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Phoenix Alb showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 69 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th minute of play forced MINAS TIRITH's goalkeeper Niculae Dudău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Dudău was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Görkem Büyükada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play forced MINAS TIRITH's goalkeeper Niculae Dudău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, MINAS TIRITH's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Niculae Dudău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes in the game, Phoenix Alb fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phoenix Alb, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mexico had won after a very even match.
