Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jose Heredia took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Andrés Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Heredia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Downchester City got a freekick which was hit by Moi Samaniego. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Jose Heredia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. Downchester City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Feliksas Fenichev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fumo Canuto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After taking down the ball on Despidida AFC's corner Kajetan Gdowik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fumo Canuto quite easily take care of the ball. Fumo Canuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Ivănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Dinu Ivănescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fumo Canuto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jose Heredia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Selatse having to make a save. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Jose Heredia tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dinu Ivănescu hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Heredia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. Feliksas Fenichev made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dinu Ivănescu however managed to control.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Raymond to strike the kick off in the second half. Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez was substituted for Alvaro Raymond. Downchester City made a substitution. Manolito Cano replaced Fabio Bouzas. Despidida AFC's Arturo Arano was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. Feliksas Fenichev got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Toro Martínez. A sloppy throw-in by Feliksas Fenichev in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Downchester City's Manolito Cano. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Andrés Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Downchester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrés Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Selatse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Downchester City made a substitution. Beila Marcilla replaced Jose Heredia. Downchester City's Etxahun Rienda was substituted for Andrés Figueroa. In the 75th minute Manolito Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fumo Canuto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etxahun Rienda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beila Marcilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92ndth minute of the game Toro Martínez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Downchester City's Fumo Canuto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolito Cano in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolito Cano in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Selatse saved Despidida AFC from getting behind. In the 96th minute of the match Downchester City got a corner. Despidida AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liberto Guasch ran over to the corner to take the kick. Despidida AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Downchester City's much stronger midfield.
