Guilherme Félix came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Manzanares could save by the left post. Ferdinand Joldea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. The throw-in from Antonio Indiano in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Joaquim Tande. After some careless play in the TIMETER EC -DMZ- defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Joldea. The TIMETER EC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Joldea should have stopped the shot. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Ferdinand Joldea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 52nd minute of play. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in 55 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ferdinand Joldea guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ferdinand Joldea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 64th minute of play. Diogo Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The corner led to TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Maximino Bidari getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Faria in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Tande during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquim Tande hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Diogo Faria struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TIMETER EC -DMZ-. Diogo Faria scored 3-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Joldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match, Pascual Carballar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ferdinand Joldea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
