In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Totenteich's goalkeeper Sylvain Witschard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Totenteich the free kick. In the 11th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when 赵桑适 sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, FC Totenteich's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Sylvain Witschard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 21st minute of play forced FC Totenteich's goalkeeper Sylvain Witschard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. FC Totenteich's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylvain Witschard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sylvain Witschard. FC Totenteich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sylvain Witschard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sylvain Witschard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 45th minute, Nigel Andermatt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Lukas Christen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Totenteich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Christen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 played minutes FC Totenteich got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Christen. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 55th minute. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match Dario Sprecher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valentiano Bussmann in the 73 minute of the game. Salvador Gisbert fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 83rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philippe Stocker in the 87th minute of play. If 赵桑适 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the FC Totenteich players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 赵桑适 in the 100th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Totenteich had won after a very even match.
