An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play forced Swindon Sweden FF's goalkeeper Reynaldo Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Falck in the 16th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Marcus Östman sent off a good shot on target. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Reynaldo Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Swindon Sweden FF's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Tino came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Swindon Sweden FF's Reynaldo Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Tino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 51st minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reynaldo Tino. The goal made the score 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Reynaldo Tino however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Falck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Tino made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Swindon Sweden FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reynaldo Tino quite easily take care of the ball. Swindon Sweden FF made a substitution. Sten Jespersson replaced Sven-Erik Lindberg. Swindon Sweden FF made a substitution. Algot Spets replaced Kurt Haglund. Algot Spets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 81st minute, but Reynaldo Tino got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Swindon Sweden FF hanging dry this time. In the 84thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swindon Sweden FF's Reynaldo Tino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Reynaldo Tino in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the match, Swindon Sweden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Reynaldo Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brian Falck was slow to take the kick. During this time Swindon Sweden FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Swindon Sweden FF's Brian Falck to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Algot Spets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swindon Sweden FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Algot Spets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
