Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Claudio-Paul Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio-Paul Taffarel saved Inter de Melão from getting behind. Delfim Paraense took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Claudio-Paul Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Delfim Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Melão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After 17 played minutes Inter de Melão got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Paraense. Inter de Melão's Claudio-Paul Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Claudio-Paul Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 24 played minutes Inter de Melão got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Pernambucano. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio-Paul Taffarel was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th minute Delfim Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Moises Tafalla. 33 minutes into the match, Tobias Zachrisson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Zachrisson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 37 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Claudio-Paul Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. After taking down the ball on Honduras's corner Edmundo Espiga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudio-Paul Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Acácio Pernambucano made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. In the 43rdth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Melão's Claudio-Paul Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter de Melão's goalie prevented a goal. After 45 played minutes Inter de Melão got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Vergílio. Claudio-Paul Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 45th minute. The Honduras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inter de Melão were winning 1-2.

Claudio-Paul Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio-Paul Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter de Melão's goalie prevented a goal. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaus Meine kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inter de Melão! 81 minutes in the game Klaus Meine did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tobias Zachrisson. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio-Paul Taffarel having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Delfim Paraense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 88 minute of play. Claudio-Paul Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Claudio-Paul Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Inter de Melão to leave the ground with a draw.
