Veselin Pejović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veselin Pejović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veselin Pejović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jusuf Salamović during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FISHBONE 06 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jusuf Salamović hit a great ball. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, FISHBONE 06's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Veselin Pejović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Primitivo Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veselin Pejović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vule Jović, made in the 47th minute of the game. The FISHBONE 06 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraguay were winning 0-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veselin Pejović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Primitivo Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Escribano couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veselin Pejović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Veselin Pejović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Veselin Pejović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veselin Pejović made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Hector Covarrubias sent off a good shot on target. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Veselin Pejović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. After having played for 65 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jusuf Salamović kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. FISHBONE 06's Jusuf Salamović managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 77 minute of the game. Jaime Pardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Veselin Pejović having to make a save. Veselin Pejović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 85th minute of play. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Veselin Pejović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stefan Janjiš fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FISHBONE 06's protests and gave Stefan Janjiš a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paraguay booed when FISHBONE 06 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Janjiš didn't get a good kick on the ball.
