Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 4th minute. Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s Raimundo Vilela got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Ronald Groneberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. After 15 minutes, Gorka Mendieta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gorka Mendieta kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s Hauk Thuen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hauk Thuen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 20th minute. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Barbosa came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Hegg in the 25th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Gorka Mendieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ronald Groneberg hit a great ball. Hauk Thuen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Severo to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hauk Thuen. Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gorka Mendieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gorka Mendieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the game, Gorka Mendieta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s Gorka Mendieta. But to his dismay, Gorka Mendieta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gorka Mendieta to make the kick off. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Barbosa came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Vestberg kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Panama:s Marcos Cotilla showed great skill when he stopped Raimundo Vilela:s penalty. In the 69th minute, Leonardo Severo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Serpa got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Jovanie Cabral came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hauk Thuen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Jovanie Cabral scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 2-6. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hauk Thuen having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Jovanie Cabral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-8. Torcato Coimbra hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. The Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
