When Dráusio Moura came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Jundiaí -DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio Moura couldn't finish the play. In the 8th match minute, Jundiaí -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Pena to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráusio Moura in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 11th minute of play forced Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Júnior Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júnior Tasso. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Dráusio Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Franklin Gaspar got a free kick in the 56th minute. Franklin Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. The throw-in from Franklin Gaspar in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. 86 minutes into the match, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Júnior Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Franco. 88 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Júnior Tasso. Maximiliano Escribano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 91st match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay played a much better game than Jundiaí -DMZ- and deserved their victory. The Jundiaí -DMZ- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
