Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Berganza made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Stolniceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Nuxila in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Gomosao F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anselmo Umea hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Gomosao F.C.'s Jesus Baristo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Silvestre Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Pascal Borke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Petre Stolniceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. After 46 played minutes Gomosao F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Radu Jder. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesus Baristo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Baristo in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Gomosao F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Petre Stolniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Stolniceanu having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Baristo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Dalmai came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gomosao F.C.'s Petre Stolniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Stolniceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radu Jder charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radu Jder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Petre Stolniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Stolniceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Vicente Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gomosao F.C.'s goalkeeper Petre Stolniceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. Jesus Baristo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Miralles's late challenge caught a Gomosao F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Miralles helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Miralles. In the 87th minute Aquilino Nuxila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Baristo in the 90th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gomosao F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento scored to the left of an out of position Petre Stolniceanu, making the score, 0-4. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gomosao F.C. throughout the match.
