Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Richard Mikaelsson made a huge save. Simon Lidman took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alberto Tafalla was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Richard Mikaelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play forced Frösö IF's goalkeeper Richard Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Richard Mikaelsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Richard Mikaelsson was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Mikaelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Richard Mikaelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Facundo Cadaval went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Mikaelsson. Frösö IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Richard Mikaelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Mikaelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frösö IF's Richard Mikaelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Alberto Tafalla sped through Frösö IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Mikaelsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Lidman in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Lautaro Mancebo scored 8-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Mikaelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Frösö IF booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Mikaelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Mikaelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Mikaelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 96th minute of play.
