Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Gomosao F.C. getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Anselmo Umea hit a great ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Jesus Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gomosao F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Baristo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Jesus Baristos short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Baristo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Ongile came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Aquilino Nuxila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 2-1. Aquilino Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Jesus Baristo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Baristo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Gomosao F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

54 minutes into the game, Gomosao F.C.'s Vicente Dalmai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Aquilino Nuxila struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gomosao F.C.. Jesus Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Aquilino Nuxila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Nuxila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. After 69 minutes of play, Gomosao F.C.'s Jesus Baristo made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Jesus Baristo made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. 75 minutes into the match, Gomosao F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Petre Stolniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Petre Stolniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jesus Baristo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 93 minutes, Jesus Baristo made it 10-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Gomosao F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
