In the 11th minute of the match Sven Bållström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Róbert Kormos skillfully saved the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Igelström. Harry Igelström in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Róbert Kormos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lajos Domonkos in the 14th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Mattias Asserlind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Igelström in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbert Kormos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lajos Domonkos scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Asserlind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mihály Földesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mattias Asserlind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Róbert Kormos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ture Torsberg went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Titus Pullo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbert Kormos having to interfere. In the 38th minute Charles Lenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Kormos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Bållström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Róbert Kormos made a huge save. With a little luck, Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos got control of the ball when Sven Bållström tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kingpins's Titus Pullo in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kingpins's Mikael Ekeberg was substituted for Harry Igelström. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihály Földesi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihály Földesi during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64thth minute of the game Mikael Ekeberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Kingpins were awarded a corner. Sven Bållström went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Nils-Åke Åkerman got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Lajos Domonkos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mattias Asserlind. Kingpins's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dénes Boross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Asserlind having to interfere. In the 97th minute Mikael Ekeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Kormos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
