Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Leo Pihlwall started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mihály Földesi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustaf Olofsson having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's János Major got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Pihlwall in the 4th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes Wyoming Cowboys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferenc Jászberényi who took care of the corner kick. Olivér Cselényi kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Bo Gadd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc Jászberényi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Mihály Földesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Róbert Kormos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Åhlberg in the 28th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Wyoming Cowboys's Leo Pihlwall made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbert Kormos was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Lajos Domonkos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dénes Boross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaf Olofsson made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Lajos Domonkos sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Olivér Cselényi in the 43rd minute really tested Gustaf Olofsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gustaf Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Vörös in the 47th minute of play. Gustaf Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsolt Vörös, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihály Földesi to strike the kick off in the second half. Olivér Cselényi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Wyoming Cowboys booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. János Major didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dénes Boross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Wyoming Cowboys defense, Lajos Domonkos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaf Olofsson. The Wyoming Cowboys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaf Olofsson should have stopped the shot. If János Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Zsolt Vörös cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gustaf Olofsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Zsolt Vörös fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szombathely Squirrels's protests and gave Zsolt Vörös a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Zsolt Vörös hit a great ball. Wyoming Cowboys were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Szombathely Squirrels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leo Pihlwall took the corner. Wyoming Cowboys's Leo Pihlwall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Róbert Kormos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Zsolt Vörös nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaf Olofsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The corner led Wyoming Cowboys's Leo Pihlwall to fire away a dangerous shot which Róbert Kormos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eric Boberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Róbert Kormos made a huge save. Zsolt Vörös recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Wyoming Cowboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Jönsätt to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match Ferenc Jászberényi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustaf Olofsson skillfully saved the ball. Róbert Kormos stood somewhat misplaced when Leo Pihlwall came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 93 minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Szombathely Squirrels fully deserved thier win.
