The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sad Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algirdas Brazauskas in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Yelonki getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alfred Karanewski hit a great ball. Leonard Lepucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Miglius Beržinis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredas Vaitkevičius hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of Yelonki booed when FC COSA NOSTRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustas Ogintas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Dag Laskowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miglius Beržinis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Yelonki's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredas Malakauskas came free, but Sad Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Alfredas Malakauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sad Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sad Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algirdas Brazauskas in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Dag Laskowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miglius Beržinis, 2-0. Dobromir Dziewedik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miglius Beržinis having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dag Laskowski made a kick off. In the 54th minute Leonard Lepucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miglius Beržinis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Lepucki scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miglius Beržinis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dag Laskowski in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miglius Beržinis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th match minute, Yelonki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Pisarcik to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th match minute, FC COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredas Malakauskas to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd match minute, Yelonki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Mnich to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Wiktor Hendzel notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC COSA NOSTRA's Miglius Beržinis. Miglius Beržinis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Laskowski in the 80th minute of play forced FC COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Miglius Beržinis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Laskowski scored 5-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miglius Beržinis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wiktor Hendzel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miglius Beržinis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Sad Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredas Malakauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th match minute, Yelonki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Dziewedik to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yelonki fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC COSA NOSTRA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
