The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donostia Ceron during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Donostia Ceron hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Camilo Sesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Hermansson in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Ivan Billberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Sesto. Ivan Billberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 33 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Telin. Armando Labaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Loren Hesles put in a rough tackle. Loco Team FC:s Camilo Sesto showed great skill when he stopped Ivan Billberg:s penalty. In the 38th minute, Ivan Billberg made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Sesto. Loco Team FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Jens-Ola Norberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Per-Olof Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lekubegi Bollo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Ivan Billberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörn Hermansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Camilo Sesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Billberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Ekrot's late challenge caught a Loco Team FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Ekrot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Felix Ekrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Sesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Billberg in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbro IF's zone, Ysidro Cuenllas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Olof Walroth came out of the goal and Ysidro Cuenllas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Sesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Söder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ivan Billberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Sesto was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Strömsbro IF's Nils-Åke Telin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nils-Åke Telin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Strömsbro IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nils-Åke Telin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
