After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Melquiades Orixe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Orixe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Lain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Melquiades Orixe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Müller in the 9th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Leones FC's Ciriaco Bernal got control of the ball when Ariel Nayely tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leones FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Victor Müller scored to the left of an out of position Ciriaco Bernal, making the score, 2-0. After 22 minutes of play, Noqueces FC's Jose Arias made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Bernal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciriaco Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Nayely in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Noqueces FC booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Peio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Bernal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Müller in the 30th minute. Victor Müller might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Bernal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Müller ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the game, Ariel Nayely cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ciriaco Bernal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciriaco Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Nayely in the 36th minute of play. Ariel Nayely scored 6-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Bernal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gualterio Inocente hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Oscar Arlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Bernal. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Bernal should have stopped the shot. 48 minutes into the match, Victor Müller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Bernal. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Müller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Victor Müller made the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Nayely in the 54th minute of play. Rene Naldo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Naldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciriaco Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Nayely came free, but Ciriaco Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Müller scored 9-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Bernal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciriaco Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Guillem in the 70th minute of the match.
