Jörn Hermansson started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Billberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Ambrosio Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Ivan Billberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Bernal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ciriaco Bernal stood somewhat misplaced when Ivan Billberg came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. In the 19th minute Melquiades Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Jörn Hermansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciriaco Bernal. Jörn Hermansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Ivan Billberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Ciriaco Bernal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Oskar Pihlgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Bernal made a huge save. Ambrosio Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Per-Olof Walroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Billberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Bernal having to interfere. Per-Olof Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Orixe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Ivan Billberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ciriaco Bernal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Hermansson came free, but Ciriaco Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melquiades Orixe was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Felix Ekrot hit a great ball. Ciriaco Bernal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Billberg went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, Ivan Billberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Primitivo Marino made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ambrosio Peio immediately put the ball in play. Nils-Åke Telin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Gartzea in the 80th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Per-Olof Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Billberg in the 82nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Strömsbro IF fully deserved thier win.
