Per-Olof Walroth was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Algirdas Brazauskas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Algirdas Brazauskas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Per-Olof Walroth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramūnas Budraitis in the 17th minute. The supporters of FC COSA NOSTRA booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Billberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC COSA NOSTRA were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Strömsbro IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredas Malakauskas took the corner. After 25 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Norberg. The nice shot from Algirdas Brazauskas in the 26thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Per-Olof Walroth had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ramūnas Budraitis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Olof Walroth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Aloyzas Jučas came free, but Per-Olof Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Olof Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algirdas Brazauskas in the 36th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Pihlgren. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Rosen was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Sebastian Rosen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC COSA NOSTRA's Miglius Beržinis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, FC COSA NOSTRA's Algirdas Brazauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Olof Walroth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algirdas Brazauskas in the 64th minute of play. Miglius Beržinis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Billberg went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of FC COSA NOSTRA booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rickard Söder hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramūnas Budraitis in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Olof Walroth saved Strömsbro IF from getting behind. Oskar Pihlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Per-Olof Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algirdas Brazauskas in the 84th minute of the match. Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algirdas Brazauskas in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute FC COSA NOSTRA were awarded a corner. Alfredas Malakauskas went to the cornerflag to take it. Ramūnas Budraitis was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 94thth minute of the game Aloyzas Jučas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Oskar Pihlgren fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strömsbro IF's protests and gave Oskar Pihlgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Pihlgren. FC COSA NOSTRA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Strömsbro IF for a fine match.
