The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Olivér Cselényi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Benedykt Smolarek kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radoslaw Raszek in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbert Kormos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Radoslaw Raszek put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Róbert Kormos. Dénes Boross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Zdrojowy having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Mihály Földesi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dominik Zdrojowy. Mihály Földesi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Róbert Kormos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Ludwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Szilárd Csikós. Benedykt Smolarek scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Róbert Kormos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Dom Spokojnej Młodości booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Jakó didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbert Kormos came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Nike Dres. But to his dismay, Nike Dres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With an all-out effort, Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Róbert Kormos threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benedykt Smolarek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mihály Földesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Zdrojowy having to interfere. With a little luck, Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos got control of the ball when Radoslaw Raszek tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Dom Spokojnej Młodości's goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Vörös came free, but Dominik Zdrojowy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Benedykt Smolarek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Róbert Kormos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Dominik Zdrojowy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Vörös in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Radoslaw Raszek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Róbert Kormos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Tomasz Wejta was substituted for Radoslaw Raszek. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tomasz Wejta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dom Spokojnej Młodości's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomasz Wejta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbert Kormos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Róbert Kormos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Wejta in the 84th minute of play. Róbert Kormos made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Benedykt Smolarek sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute Dom Spokojnej Młodości were awarded a corner. Wiktor Wierzcholek went to the cornerflag to take it. 92 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedykt Smolarek. Dom Spokojnej Młodości's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
